La carrera por el oro ha iniciado.
El jueves por la mañana fueron anunciadas las nominaciones para el Oscar 2016 en el Teatro Samuel Goldwyn de Beverly Hills. Los cineastas Guillermo del Toro y Ang Lee, junto con el actor John Krasinski y la presidenta de la Academia, Cheryl Boone Isaacs, revelaron oficialmente a los contendientes de las 24 categorías.
El Renacido (The Revenant) se encuentra a la cabeza en menciones con un total de 12, incluyendo Mejor Película, Mejor director (Alejandro González Iñárritu), Mejor Actor (Leonardo DiCaprio), Mejor Actor de Reparto (Tom Hardy), y Mejor Fotografía (Emmanuel Lubezki). Mad Max: Fury Road le sigue en segundo lugar con 10 nominaciones.

La 88ª Entrega de los Premios de la Academia tendrá lugar el domingo 28 de febrero en el Teatro Dolby de Hollywood, con la conducción del comediante Chris Rock.
